~ Wool Season ~
Wool has been dyed and out came this beautiful seagreen colour! Warm and soft from local sheep!
This is a 100% Alpacca; unusual colour, but why not...
I never imagined that all chocolate variations are bestsellers... ö lovely Sunday to all!
And don't forget to feed my goldfish; if you use the curser in their pool, they will come and follow you around!

~ Have a nice Weekend ~
Dienstag, 5. August 2008
Now it is fortunately cooler again and still stormy and straberry times are almost over!
So I can get back to real dinners, but aren't they just tasty?
You can leave a comment, that I appreciate, also here in this blog, but where to do it is hidden and only visible when you click at the bottom of each post. Easier it is to see in my other blog: www.bea-nype.blogspot.com! Wellcome!!!
This is a better shot of my just done mitts....
And would you believe that this is NOT Leif Gizmo? These are Dave and George and I found them in an open picture pool! I was really astonished!!! This is exactly Leif Gizmo!!! Dave is an American soldier in Iraq and adopted the puppy. I well know that this kind of dogs come from the area and Leif Gizmos ancestors do, too. But this resemblance is really quite amazing!

~ Canadian Weeks ~
Canadian Weeks here in town are thru! And it seems it was quite a success. Many artist from all over Canada came over to exhibit. Besides City Hall and most shops were decorated with a Maple Leaf. It was very good to get a little touch of Canada again; it's been sooooo long since I have been there last time.... and although I hardly eat any meat, except fish, I tried a bison sausage during the opening and it was very good! Also a maple coffee, which was great!Various recitations were also offered during the passed weeks in the City Hall, about First Nation, economis between Canada and Germany and other things of interest.
What a good time we can have here in town!!! Some of the artefacts still remain like the sculpture in the lake, which I really like between the water lillies and the ducklings swimmin around... YYYY

Leif Gizmo within 1 year!
....and now: a sturdy male dog, enjoying his life! Y I would rather be one of these Penguins; it is so hot here that it is almost frustrating. We are not really prepared for such warmth! In the western parts of Germany there were heavy showers and thunderstorms, but not uphere...it only hot! Soon all will be dried out and we will get bush fire warnings.... :(

~ @ Roses @ ~
It is too hot for me today to do anything else but blogging. I always think that summer is lovely and I love it indeed....for about 30 minutes or so. After that the heat makes me lazy, sleepy and sometimes I even get headaches. Fortunately we live quite up north, so it is not always that warm! Nevertheless earlier today I was out with the dog in the woods. It was nice and shady, still warm, so just right for a long walk. We enjoyed it. The dog could also cool down in the creek, although most of the water was dried off...
You can't imagine how I long for Fall! This is MY season!!!

Leif Gizmo on Tour!
Sonntag, 20. Juli 2008
Vil aldri glemme deg!!! He was born 9. January 1996 in Gokels in Germany, has travelled much in his life; his favourite was to be in Norway! On 4. June 2007 he decided to go over the Rainbowbridge in my arms by his own will, exactly at noon he just let go! We are all unconsoleable...
Y Dear Olly! We spent almost 20 years together. In your last 2 years you even started to travell and - surprisingly enjoyed it! After so many years you grew old and sick and I finally released you with my own hands on 23. March 2007! It took you only 1 minute to walk over the Rainbowbridge... I miss you much...
Y Little Hexe arrived with us on 3. August 2005! She is an original Norwegian Forestcat without pedigree, born in Skien in Telemarken in Norway. Always friendly, coaxy and looking pretty, she gives so much joy and is such a lovely sight to see....
Y Leif Gizmo was born 27. May 2007 in Rendsburg in Germany. His young mum was a streetdog in Turkey, not an easy life for a dog downthere and it was about to end real soon. Dogs often get poisoned, beaten, run over, gasified there! This was also the destiny of his ancestors, but his mum and uncle were rescued and flowen to Germany; his mum already pregnant although herself still a puppy... he is my sensitive giant, playful, happy and represents the type of dog known in the area his ancestors come from!
Please have a look at my other blog www.bea-nype.blogspot.com! Some nice offers will appear there! Enjoy!!!
